Superbubble
SuperBubble is an ever-expanding funk collective out of Salt Lake City, Utah. With their lyrical and experimental style, fat driving beats and solid grooves, they turn a room into an unapologetically funky dance party. Formed in 2016, they became a quick favorite within the festival circuit and a staple of the local music scene. In May of 2017 SuperBubble released their first self-titled EP, which received positive and enthusiastic reviews. S.L.U.G Magazine wrote, “SuperBubble are one of the biggest surprises I have encountered this year, with one of the most solid debuts I’ve heard out of the Salt Lake scene. This album is a fleshed funk fest of jam, jive and jazz, with a couple of the strongest instrumental tracks I’ve heard for years.” In 2018, they embarked on their first tour of Europe, playing shows all over the Netherlands and France while on their way to the ÉCU Film Festival in Paris. They kicked off 2019 by performing a New Years Eve Bash with Orgōne, and later releasing their debut full-length album “Space Bound” in March. With building momentum and a loyal growing fan base, look out for SuperBubble popping off at a party near you.
Kirk Dath Band
The Kirk Dath Band is a 6-piece cinedelic rock & roll outfit from Salt Lake City, UT. They've been called "masters of mood", they've been called the "Floyd of the American West", they've been called “baby making music for metalheads”, but what they’ve NEVER been called is “late to the dance floor”. The gears that make this psychonautical Rolex tick include: Kirk Dath (lead vocals/guitar), Sean McCarthy (organ/synth), Mack Moon (backup vocals), Dimitri Katsanevas (bass), Levi Ollerton (drums) and Mac Wray (backup vocals/guitar).
Stonefed
Stonefed played its first shows in 1999 and since has traveled the country over with its music. Stonefed’s place is at the heart of Utah’s jam-band community; filling shows up in the state’s capital for over a decade, it’s following has grown into a family. Between the groovy rock n’ roll drumming and funky bass lines, one can catch dual lead guitar interplay reminiscent of southern rock jam bands. Original tunes with catchy lyrics give way too energetic jams and tasty swells. These men from Moab have come to you with one intention… A funky good time.
Gordon Greenwood & the Hurt
Out of Ogden, Utah, GG & the Hurt are putting out some of the funkiest soul music in the mountain west. Each player in the group is formidable in their own right but together, there is undeniable magic here.
The/Theyz
We’re not drawing a line in the sand, we’re painting the whole picture from scratch. With every song, idea, and conversation, we allow ourselves to be defined only by the end results of our creations. We are a group that is devoted to authentic creativity, that stems from a rapid fire “no one knows” mentality. With this project, we plan on growing creatively, artistically, and professionally through our combined effort to hone in on our ability to freely express ourselves, and have a great time doing so. This is a passion project from all of us that will be everchanging and evolving along with us. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to ride with us, or check us out.
Tycoon Machete
Tycoon Machete is a genre hopping psychedelic rock band from Salt Lake City featuring distorted banjos, lap steel guitars, synthesizers, musical saws, and horror movie visuals. Their sets are most often referred to as "journeys". Their songs tend to blend into each other and travel through musical genres from PreWar Blues to Alternative to PsychRock to Industrial to PostRock.
Meander
cat
Meander Cat is a band out of Moab, Utah that plays original music in every sense, offering heartfelt, beautiful, and soulful vibes. Meander Cat began as a trio that featured outlaw Lenore McDonough on vocals, songwriting and empathy, David Mealey on harmonica, bass guitar and wisdom, and Jasper Groff on guitar, vocals and debauchery. As the time passed and the band evolved, we have added some amazing people to the mix. Chip Jenkins is part of the band family, bringing wisdom, wizardry, wicked guitar, and vocals. We also have added a cast of rhythm giants on drums that are Dave Brogan, Ed Stone, and Jon Olsen. All 3 are extremely talented and cherished in the Utah music scene and beyond. Rick Gerber has now entered the band as a wicked keys player, that also brings knowledge of the cosmos and epic showmanship. As Meander grows in numbers, the music has evolved to become a powerful rock-n-roll experience that will keep you dancing all night and coming back for more! Meander Cat is a group of angels and misfits that Rock the F@$% out, and care in the depths of their hearts to share their love for music and energy with audiences everywhere.
Spirit Machines
Spirit Machines is hard rock bordering on metal with lyrics that will sprawl your mind and guitar tones that have textures you can taste and feel.
